Real Madrid could be set for changes in its executive structure as discussions continue over how to strengthen the club's football operations.

According to Rodra, speaking on Iñaki Angulo's channel, some figures within the club believe a sporting director is needed to improve coordination across the sporting department.

However, Florentino Pérez is reportedly not fully convinced by the idea of creating a traditional sporting director role. Instead, the Real Madrid president is said to favor an alternative structure involving a high-profile figure responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of football operations.

As explained by the ESPN journalist, the objective would not be to appoint someone to lead transfer strategy or take charge of major signings, but rather to establish a direct link between the dressing room, the coaching staff, and the club's board.

With Real Madrid preparing for a new phase both on and off the pitch, the coming weeks could prove decisive in determining how the club's organizational structure evolves.
