Real Madrid have finalized their captaincy hierarchy for the 2026-27 season, with Fede Valverde set to wear the captain's armband for the first time.
According to Diario AS, the Uruguay international will serve as the club's first captain, reflecting his seniority, commitment and growing leadership within José Mourinho's squad.
Vinicius Júnior will be the second captain, followed by Thibaut Courtois and Rodrygo Goes, who complete the group's leadership structure for the new campaign.
The new captaincy order also reflects the club's ongoing generational transition, with Valverde, Vinicius, Courtois and Rodrygo expected to lead the squad on and off the pitch under Mourinho.
