According to journalists Chema de Lucas and Iacopo de Santis, Gabriele Procida is set to join Real Madrid. The talented Italian small forward has reportedly turned down an offer from Virtus Bologna to make the move to the Spanish capital, where he would reunite with fellow countryman and newly appointed head coach Sergio Scariolo.
At 23 years old and standing 198 cm tall, Procida is widely regarded as one of the brightest young prospects in Italian basketball. He averaged 10 points per game in the EuroLeague this past season and continues to raise his profile as a dynamic and versatile offensive presence.
His arrival would mark a key addition to Real Madrid’s roster as the club looks to reinforce its squad with emerging talent under Scariolo’s leadership.
