Real Madrid Castilla have secured their place in the quarterfinals of the Premier League International Cup. The side coached by Julián López de Lerma qualified for the knockout stage after finishing second in Group A. Their opponent and the match date are yet to be confirmed, with the tie to be decided in a single-leg fixture.

During the group stage, Castilla recorded victories over Wolverhampton (0-1) and Everton (0-2), while drawing against Manchester City (1-1) and Southampton (1-1). Those results were enough to earn them a spot among the top eight teams in the competition.

The Premier League International Cup is organized by the Premier League and is played entirely in England. The tournament is reserved for under-21 teams and features four groups of eight sides. Each group includes four English clubs and four invited European teams, with the latter competing exclusively against English opposition.

The top two teams from each group progress to the quarterfinals, followed by single-leg semifinals and a one-off final. This edition marks the first time Real Madrid Castilla have taken part in the tournament.
