The win gives a major boost to Víctor Cea’s side in their fight for survival, lifting them—at least temporarily—out of the direct relegation zone and into the relegation playoff spot.
It also confirms the team’s strong late-season form. Real Madrid C have now picked up four wins in their last six matches, along with one draw and one defeat, a run that has completely changed their outlook after being in a very difficult position.
With just three games remaining, the battle is far from over. Madrid’s reserve side will face Moscardó (home), San Sebastián de los Reyes (away), and Conquense (home) as they aim to secure survival.
