Real Madrid returned to training on Sunday after their victory over Levante at the Santiago Bernabéu in the last league matchday. Antonio Rüdiger and Rodrygo both trained away from the main group, casting doubt over their availability for Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Monaco (9:00 PM).
The match against Levante did not leave any new injury concerns for Álvaro Arbeloa’s side. Players who featured in Saturday’s starting eleven completed a recovery session indoors, while the rest of the squad combined gym work with exercises on the pitch.
Beyond monitoring the progress of Rüdiger and Rodrygo—pending the outcome of Monday’s final training session before the Champions League fixture—Real Madrid already know they will be without Militao, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Mendy for the match against the French team.
