Federico Valverde has reportedly attracted interest from Paris Saint-Germain amid growing speculation surrounding his future at Real Madrid.

According to journalist Marcos Benito on El Chiringuito de Jugones, PSG recently contacted people close to the player to inquire about his situation and the possibility of a potential transfer this summer.

“In the final hours of this weekend, a very powerful team in Europe, arguably the best team in existence, Paris Saint-Germain, contacted people close to the player to find out about his situation. They want to know the feasibility of signing him this summer and what happened with Tchouaméni and that incident at the club,” Benito said.

The report comes after recent controversy involving Valverde and the widely discussed altercation that generated major attention in recent days. According to Benito, PSG wants to take advantage of the uncertainty surrounding the situation at Real Madrid.

“They want to make it clear that if Valverde ever wants to leave Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain will welcome him,” the journalist added during his appearance on MEGA.

Benito also clarified that the contact does not necessarily mean the midfielder is looking to leave the club. “It doesn't mean Fede Valverde wants to leave Real Madrid or that the club wants to sell him,” he stated.

The report further claims that Luis Campos contacted Valverde’s representatives to communicate PSG’s interest if the player decides to consider a departure from Madrid.

Despite the rumors, Real Madrid’s position on a potential sale remains unclear. Any possible transfer would likely require a significant financial offer, with Valverde currently valued between €100 million and €120 million according to market estimates.
