Álvaro Carreras was officially unveiled as a new Real Madrid player in a presentation held at Valdebebas, the club's training headquarters. The ceremony began with a tribute video showcasing highlights of the young defender’s career, before President Florentino Pérez addressed the audience.

“Today, we welcome another talented player who has chosen Real Madrid to pursue his dreams and help us grow stronger,” Pérez said. “Welcome back, Álvaro. Congratulations. You return to a place you know well, a home filled with memories. You first arrived at Real Madrid City in 2017 as a 14-year-old boy. Here, you trained for three years and learned what it means to wear the badge of the most successful, beloved, and admired club in the world.”

Carreras, now 22, returned the sentiment with heartfelt words: “I want to thank Real Madrid for trusting me and making this return possible. I left as a boy, and I’m coming back as a man. I can’t wait to wear this shirt again, it’s an honor to defend this badge and everything it stands for. This is the best club in the world. I promise to give everything I have to grow, compete, and win titles together. Thank you, and Hala Madrid!”
