Álvaro Arbeloa’s future at Real Madrid remains uncertain as the season enters a decisive phase. The club’s bench does not yet have a guaranteed occupant for next season, and it is still unclear who will ultimately take charge if changes are made. Much will depend on the results achieved in the remaining competitions, but the current mood around the Madrid side is far from optimistic.

Several names have already been mentioned as possible replacements. In recent hours, Mauricio Pochettino has emerged as one of the strongest candidates. The Argentine coach was previously very close to joining Real Madrid during his time at Tottenham Hotspur, although the move never materialized. He is currently managing the United States men's national soccer team, but recent comments suggest his future there may not be long-term.

Pochettino was recently spotted at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport, where he was asked about the growing links to the Real Madrid job. Speaking to reporters, including the program El Chiringuito de Jugones, the Argentine responded candidly when questioned about the possibility of managing the club next season.

“Go to Real Madrid? Everything in its own time. Football will take you where it wants,” Pochettino said, leaving the door open to speculation about a potential future at the Bernabéu.
