Pepe addressed recent speculation linking him with a role in José Mourinho's coaching staff after speaking to the media following the Corazón Classic Match at the Santiago Bernabéu.

The former Real Madrid defender dismissed the reports, insisting he had not been contacted regarding any position at the club.

"It's all been speculation. I woke up one morning and wondered what was going on; I hadn't heard a thing."

While denying the rumors, Pepe did not completely rule out the possibility of being involved with Real Madrid in the future.

"When we talk about Real Madrid, I'm always very happy. You never know. If someone needs me, like today, to play and help people, I'm always available for Real Madrid."

The Portuguese also shared his thoughts on Mourinho's return to the club, highlighting the importance of unity within the organization.

“The most important thing is that the club is united. It was a crucial moment to foster that unity between the club, the fans, and the players. Mourinho is a key figure in ensuring everyone is on the same page and helping Real Madrid return to its former glory. I'm sure they'll win titles again.”

Pepe previously worked under Mourinho during the coach's first spell at Real Madrid and believes the Portuguese manager can help guide the club back to success.
