Endrick’s future at Real Madrid appears to be heading toward an imminent departure. Since Xabi Alonso took charge, the young Brazilian forward has yet to play a single minute. Although he has struggled with muscle issues, he has been available for several matches—but still hasn’t featured, not even briefly, from the bench.

According to reports, Endrick is expected to leave during the upcoming winter transfer window. Journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Olympique Lyonnais has made a formal loan offer to Real Madrid for the striker until the end of the season. The player is said to be aware of the proposal and open to a move to France in January in pursuit of more playing time.

It’s worth noting that with the 2026 World Cup approaching, Endrick’s lack of minutes could jeopardize his chances of representing Brazil, especially since Carlo Ancelotti has left him out of the recent national team squads due to his limited role at Madrid.

The last time Endrick played was on May 18, in Real Madrid’s 2-0 win away at Sevilla, where he started and played about an hour. Since then, he has missed 20 matches—seven at the end of last season and thirteen so far this campaign, five of them due to a thigh injury.

With the transfer window still over two months away, all signs suggest that Olympique Lyonnais is leading the race to secure Endrick’s loan move as he looks to revive his season elsewhere.
