Olympique Lyonnais have officially confirmed the signing of Endrick. The Real Madrid forward joins the French side on loan until June 30, 2026, and is set to begin training on December 29.
The announcement was unveiled through a Christmas-themed video with the slogan “This year, Christmas comes on December 23.” During his loan spell, Endrick will wear the number 9 shirt, while Lyon will assume responsibility for up to €1 million of his salary.
Real Madrid have also made the move official, which comes as a result of the Brazilian’s limited playing time this season. Endrick has featured for just 99 minutes across three official matches, the majority of them coming in the Copa del Rey clash against Talavera. He has not been a regular part of Xabi Alonso’s plans, prompting the decision to seek consistent minutes elsewhere.
The striker’s objective is clear: to gain regular playing time and strengthen his case for Brazil’s World Cup squad in the United States. Not long ago, his presence at the tournament seemed assured, but his lack of involvement this season has put that status in doubt.
