Nico Paz continues to establish himself as one of the standout players in European football, making an impact in both Serie A and the Champions League. His performances have attracted interest from Real Madrid and several Premier League clubs, with his future becoming a major talking point ahead of next season.
Real Madrid hold a €70 million buy-back clause for 2027, but there is one potential obstacle: the Argentine is not convinced he would have a significant role at the Santiago Bernabéu. As a result, he could consider other options, including staying at Como or joining another major club.
Paz once again demonstrated his quality in Como's emphatic 9-1 victory over Lens in the Champions League, scoring once and providing two assists. Across his four group-stage appearances, he has registered three goals and four assists, establishing himself as one of the competition's most productive players and attracting attention from several top clubs.
Real Madrid's priority is to bring the attacking midfielder back for next season. The possibility was already considered last summer, but Paz ultimately stayed at Como after finding no place in the first-team squad.
If Madrid decide to pursue his return, they will need to make room for him, either by selling a player or adjusting someone else's position. His arrival would add further quality to the squad, but the club would also need to offer him a clear role at the Bernabéu.
