With two months remaining in the club season, Nico Paz's future is still uncertain, and predicting where he'll play in 2025-26 remains a bold guess. Neither the player nor his entourage are providing definitive answers. His father, Pablo Paz, spoke about the situation in an interview with 'La Provincia di Como.'

"If you ask Nico what he'd like to do, he would definitely want to stay another year at Como. He feels great, he's happy, and having Fàbregas on the bench is like doing a master's degree. He loves everything here: the team, his teammates, the people... And I agree with staying in blue and white. Of course, there are other interests at play, but for us, staying another year at Como would be fine," said Pablo Paz.

However, the situation remains clear: Real Madrid sold Nico to Como for €6.5 million but retained three buyback clauses with varying amounts and deadlines, applicable at the end of each season. Ultimately, Real Madrid will decide his future—if they choose to activate the clause, Nico will return to Madrid.

What's certain is that Como has proven to be the right choice for Nico, providing him with ample playing time, and he's now leading the Lombard attack. Pablo Paz also revealed how they were convinced despite other offers: "We really liked this project, and Fàbregas' presence was crucial. He spoke to us and explained that Nico would get the chance to play his way. Talking to Cesc was key."

Meanwhile, Inter Milan has been the most active in pursuing a deal for Nico Paz, with their vice president, Javier Zanetti, leading the effort. However, Pablo Paz denies that any negotiations are currently underway. Everything will unfold at the end of the season, but until then, fans can still enjoy Nico's performances at Como's Giuseppe Sinigaglia stadium, regardless of what next season holds.
