Brazil’s second friendly of the international break brought worrying news for Real Madrid. Early in the second half against Tunisia in Lille, Éder Militao was forced off the pitch with muscle discomfort and was visibly limping as he left the field.
Ancelotti had opted for a strong starting lineup, with Militao, Vinicius, and Rodrygo all included. With the score at 1–1, the center-back went down and immediately signaled that something was wrong.
The CBF’s initial assessment points to discomfort in his adductor, although the full extent of the issue is still unknown. Real Madrid has already been informed, and the defender will undergo medical tests today upon his arrival at Valdebebas. Since returning to action this season, Militao has only suffered one setback, a left-ankle problem in the derby that caused him to miss the following Champions League match against Kairat.
