Real Madrid held their first training session on Thursday ahead of Saturday’s clash with Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabéu (9:00 p.m.), with the positive news of Éder Militão’s return.
The Brazilian defender, who missed the Champions League thrashing of Kairat Almaty due to a painful knock, has fully rejoined the group. Militão was struck by a powerful shot from Alexander Sorloth early in last weekend’s derby, which left him with discomfort and reduced mobility, forcing him out of midweek action.
After undergoing targeted treatment, the centre-back was able to complete Thursday’s training without issue.
On the other hand, Dani Carvajal, Antonio Rüdiger, Ferland Mendy, and Trent Alexander-Arnold remain sidelined as they continue their respective recovery programs.
