The 2027 Spanish Super Cup will take place in February, with several international destinations competing to host the 43rd edition of the tournament.
The competition, which features the La Liga and Copa del Rey champions along with their respective runners-up, will not be held in Saudi Arabia in 2027 due to the Asian Cup taking place in the country. Qatar remains an alternative option, although it is considered less likely.
According to reports, Miami is currently the leading candidate to host the tournament, followed by Istanbul, while Qatar ranks as the third possibility. The delegated committee will meet next Thursday to discuss and determine the preferred venue.
The four participating clubs, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Real Sociedad, and Atlético de Madrid, have already been informed of the process.
The tournament will once again follow the Final Four format. The semifinals will see Real Sociedad face Real Madrid, while the other match will feature Barcelona against Atlético de Madrid. The winners will then advance to the final to compete for the trophy.
