Kylian Mbappé has officially concluded La Liga as the top scorer, claiming both the prestigious Pichichi Trophy and his first-ever European Golden Boot. The French star, in his debut season with Real Madrid, netted 31 goals in the Spanish league—four more than his closest rival, Robert Lewandowski—earning 62 points in the continental ranking, the highest of any player in Europe.
With this accomplishment, Mbappé becomes just the third Real Madrid player in history to win the Golden Boot, following Hugo Sánchez (1989–90) and Cristiano Ronaldo (2010–11, 2013–14, 2014–15).
By winning the Pichichi, Mbappé joins an elite list of 15 Real Madrid legends who have claimed the award, including Olivares, Pahíño, Di Stéfano (5 times), Puskas (4), Amancio (2), Juanito, Hugo Sánchez (4), Butragueño, Zamorano, Raúl (2), Ronaldo, Van Nistelrooy, Cristiano Ronaldo (3), Benzema, and Mbappé himself.
In total, Mbappé has scored 43 goals across all competitions this season—and there's still the Club World Cup to play, leaving room for his tally to grow even further in an already historic debut campaign.
