Real Madrid earned their first competitive victory in Kazakhstan, sealing their second win of the Champions League first stage. The night belonged to Kylian Mbappé, who struck a hat-trick to inspire Xabi Alonso’s side to a commanding triumph over Kairat Almaty.
The French forward opened the scoring from the penalty spot to make it 1-0, before taking charge in the second half. He netted twice more, first after capitalizing on a long assist from Courtois and then with a thunderous strike from the edge of the area.
Camavinga added the fourth in the 83rd minute with a header after fine work from Rodrygo, and Brahim sealed the 5-0 victory in stoppage time.
