Kylian Mbappé, who scored his first goal of this season's Champions League against Inter Milan on Tuesday, spoke to CBS Sports and revealed that winning the competition is his main priority, although the Ballon d'Or remains one of his ambitions.
“It’s one of my goals. I said it yesterday about the Ballon d’Or, but the truth is that the Champions League is more important because I’m playing for the team I love. I want to win the Champions League in Madrid more than anything,” the striker said.
Mbappé also praised José Mourinho, highlighting the intensity and motivation the Real Madrid manager brings to the team.
“He makes you feel alive, active, and special. He's someone who puts a lot of pressure on you, makes you work intensely. And of course, when you have a coach like that, so hungry for success, you never want to disappoint him and you want to give your best,” Mbappé explained.
