The French forward is currently going through a difficult period after recovering from a complicated knee injury. Since returning, he has played five matches, starting three, and has scored just once. During this run, Real Madrid have yet to register a victory and continue to struggle for consistency.

Despite the dip in form, Mbappé expressed his appreciation for representing the club: “For me, it’s like a gift from God. To have the opportunity to live my passion, to play in the best matches, to be at the best club in the world.” Now in his second season, he has already reached personal milestones, including matching Cristiano Ronaldo’s record for goals scored in a calendar year in 2025.

Real Madrid have won few major titles since his arrival, and expectations remain high among supporters. With the season once again proving challenging, the Champions League stands as the main opportunity to secure silverware, although the team must first overcome Bayern Munich.
