Just minutes before Real Madrid stepped onto the pitch at the Santiago Bernabéu, a tense moment unfolded inside the tunnel. Álvaro Arbeloa’s starting eleven waited to make their entrance while the stadium announcer read out the lineups over the PA system.
When the names of Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr. were announced, a wave of boos echoed through the stadium. The reaction was clearly felt by the players. Vinicius, visibly affected by the whistles, sat on the tunnel steps, where he received words of support and encouragement from Kylian Mbappé and fitness coach Antonio Pintus.
