Kylian Mbappé has signed with Swiss sports equipment brand On, becoming a global ambassador for the company and ending his long-standing partnership with Nike.
The Real Madrid forward confirmed the move on social media, with On set to become his new technical supplier. Mbappé had worked with Nike since his childhood and throughout his time in the youth ranks, but his contract expired in 2026 and he has opted not to renew it.
The move will see Mbappé join a younger brand where he is expected to have a more prominent role in shaping its football strategy and products.
“What attracted me to On was the opportunity to build something entirely new together that will shape the game of tomorrow. I want to contribute my experience and perspective to what we believe in, push the boundaries of what's possible through innovation, and stay true to the joy of football. We have a shared dream, and this is just the beginning,” the Frenchman stated, according to comments reported by On.
Mbappé’s decision was also influenced by the presence of Thierry Henry, who serves as On’s director of football. The French legend has reportedly been working on the role since the end of 2025.
According to On, Henry “will play a central role in the strategic development of On Football, from the relationships between product and athletes to how On addresses the culture and future of the sport.”
Mbappé now begins a new chapter in his career away from Nike, with his partnership with On combining his experience as one of football’s biggest stars with the brand’s ambitions in the sport.
