2025 has been an outstanding year for Kylian Mbappé in front of goal. In addition to equaling Cristiano Ronaldo’s historic tally of 59 goals, the Real Madrid star reached the Christmas break as the leading scorer in both La Liga and the Champions League during the 2025/26 season.
Mbappé has scored 18 goals in 18 La Liga matches so far, accounting for more than half of Real Madrid’s total of 34 league goals. His campaign includes braces against Oviedo, Levante, Valencia, and Athletic Club. These numbers place him firmly at the top of the Pichichi race, ahead of Ferran Torres with 11 goals and Vedat Muriqi with nine.
In the Champions League, the French forward has been equally decisive, scoring nine goals in just six matches. He delivered a memorable performance in Athens against Olympiacos, scoring four goals in a dramatic 3–4 win. Mbappé also registered a hat-trick in the emphatic 5–0 victory over Kairat Almaty and added a brace against Marseille at the Santiago Bernabéu.
