Kylian Mbappé continues to dazzle in his first season with Real Madrid, and his latest feat came on the biggest stage—El Clásico. The French superstar netted a hat-trick against Barcelona at Montjuïc, bringing his season tally to 39 goals, a new record for a Real Madrid player in their debut campaign.

With this milestone, Mbappé surpasses Iván Zamorano, who scored 37 goals in the 1992–93 season. He had already eclipsed debut totals by other Madrid legends such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Ruud van Nistelrooy (33 each), and Ronaldo Nazário (30).

Here’s how Mbappé’s goals are distributed across competitions so far: 27 in La Liga, where he leads the table; 7 in the Champions League; 2 in the Copa del Rey; 1 in the European Super Cup; 1 in the Spanish Super Cup; and 1 in the Intercontinental Cup.

His scoring record includes 3 hat-tricks (vs. Manchester City, Valladolid, and Barcelona) and 5 braces (vs. Betis, Las Palmas, Villarreal, Leganés, and Celta Vigo).

With several matches still to play, Mbappé's debut campaign is shaping up to be one for the history books—and he’s not done yet.
