Franco Mastantuono is going through a complicated period since arriving at Real Madrid. The midfielder joined the club last summer but has been unable to play in recent weeks due to a groin injury that has sidelined him indefinitely. During the international break, he spoke with Manu Carreño on Cadena SER’s El Larguero to discuss his current situation and life at the club.
Among the topics covered, Mastantuono explained which teammate has impressed him the most since his arrival. His answer was immediate. “I think I was asked recently and I said that Bellingham seemed like an incredible player to me. I still stand by that, and well, I used to watch him from Argentina. I think he's incredible, firstly because of his personality on the court, his presence, and his technique. I think he's a player who, in addition to his technique and talent, transmits a lot on the court, and I think that helps the team a lot. He's also a great person, and I get along very well with him; we have a very good relationship.”
Mastantuono also praised Kylian Mbappé. “I would highlight everything. The truth is, he's in incredible form and he's helping us a lot. Golden Boot, I think he's a player who speaks for himself. A natural goalscorer who will obviously help us a lot, and hopefully we can help him a lot to be the star he already is, but will continue to be for many years, hopefully here at Real Madrid.”
