The Spanish Super Cup final between Real Madrid and Barcelona in Riyadh this Sunday (8:00 p.m.) will be officiated by Juan Martínez Munuera.
This will be Martínez Munuera's fourth Clásico, with one win for Barcelona and two for Real Madrid in the three he has directed so far. His first Clásico was on matchday 7 of the 2020-21 season, in which Real Madrid won 1-3 at the Camp Nou. His second was in the 2021-22 season, in which Barcelona won 0-4 at the Bernabéu. In the third, the one who won 0-4 was Real Madrid at the Camp Nou last season in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals.
He has officiated both teams once this season: Real Madrid 0-0 Rayo and Barcelona 1-0 Athletic.
