Mario Rivas scored his first goal for Real Madrid in the victory against Ferencváros in the club's second preseason friendly at the Ferencváros Stadion in Budapest.

The academy graduate started the match and opened the scoring before halftime, taking another important step during preseason with the first team. After the match, Rivas spoke to Realmadrid TV about his goal and his experience with the squad.

"I'm very happy and very grateful to be able to share my day-to-day life with the best in the world. Today I'm very happy to continue getting playing time, and as for the goal, you can imagine... Very happy."

The young player also highlighted the intensity of working at Real Madrid and the demands required to compete at the highest level.

"It's a very demanding daily routine where you have to give one hundred percent, but the work is going very well. We are training very well and I am very eager to continue working."

Rivas explained that Mourinho's message to the squad is clear: every match must be approached with the ambition to win. "The manager asks us to give one hundred percent. In the end, we are Real Madrid players and there are no friendlies here: we always have to win. Today we showed that we wanted to win and that's what we did."

Reflecting on his first goal with the first team, the academy player admitted it was a special moment. "It's an indescribable feeling. When I scored, I couldn't believe it. I'm very happy about the game, the goal, and the victory."
