Real Madrid legend Marcelo has praised one of the club’s brightest academy talents. Speaking to AS, he highlighted Gabri, a standout player in the Juvenil A squad.
“There is a boy in Juvenil A named Gabri. He is top level, I like him a lot,” Marcelo said.
Marcelo added, “He will likely reach the first team because he has exceptional dribbling ability, similar to Lamine. His control of the ball is fantastic.”
Gabri Valero Carretero, born on August 3, 2007, joined Real Madrid’s academy in 2021. Since then, he has progressed steadily through the youth categories, beginning with the Under-15 team.
This season, he made his Youth League debut against Juventus, displaying the qualities of a modern midfielder, with versatility and confidence when carrying the ball.
