The Brazilian hinted at a potential departure from Santiago Bernabéu and allowed speculation to swirl about a possible move to Manchester City. It’s no secret that Pep Guardiola is an admirer of the former Santos star, which has kept the rumors of a transfer to the Etihad Stadium alive in recent months.

However, Manchester City are not the only English club interested in Rodrygo. According to reports from TEAMtalk, Liverpool are also eyeing the Real Madrid forward, especially if Mohamed Salah leaves Anfield at the end of the season. Salah’s contract with Liverpool expires on June 30, and renewal talks have stalled. Saudi Arabian clubs are reportedly optimistic about signing the Egyptian star this summer, which could leave the Reds in search of a replacement.

Should Salah depart, Rodrygo has been identified as Liverpool’s top target, according to TEAMtalk. Nonetheless, it remains uncertain whether Real Madrid would be open to letting go of a player who has already scored ten goals and provided six assists this season. Furthermore, Rodrygo is under contract with the Spanish giants until June 30, 2028.
