Real Madrid suffered a narrow 82-81 defeat against Panathinaikos in Athens.
Sergio Scariolo’s side led the game after the first three quarters but were undone by the home team’s excellent shooting in the final period. Despite fighting until the very end, the match was decided in Panathinaikos’ favor when Grant scored the game-winning basket with just two seconds remaining.
Len was Real Madrid’s standout performer, finishing with 20 points and a performance rating of 29.
