In a conversation with Romário, Toni Kroos looked back on his playing career, shared his thoughts on Real Madrid’s current situation, and discussed the upcoming World Cup, for which he believes Spain are one of the clear favorites to lift the trophy.
When asked about the biggest club of his career, Kroos left no room for doubt: “The biggest club I’ve played for? That’s an easy one: Real Madrid. I was fortunate to spend ten years at the best club in the world. My time there was the most successful and the most fulfilling of my career. We achieved so much together. The club felt like a big family. Without a doubt, those were the best years of my life as a footballer.”
