Real Madrid’s plans for the future could involve a major double move, with Toni Kroos reportedly playing an active role behind the scenes. According to Joaquín Maroto, deputy director of AS, the former German midfielder is trying to convince Jürgen Klopp to join the club as part of a new coaching project.
The information, revealed on Ramón Álvarez de Mon’s podcast, suggests that Real Madrid are exploring the possibility of bringing both figures together on the bench, a move seen as highly significant from a sporting perspective.
Further fueling the speculation, Josep Pedrerol reported on El Chiringuito de Jugones that the club now believes Klopp could be open to accepting the offer to become the next Real Madrid manager.
Maroto also indicated that Klopp would only consider leaving his current role within the Red Bull structure for a move to Real Madrid, despite previous reports linking his return to coaching exclusively with the German national team.
The situation remains open, but a final decision on the club’s next manager is expected soon.
