Real Madrid’s Juvenil A delivered a commanding performance to secure their place in the UEFA Youth League quarterfinals.
Álvaro López’s side defeated Chelsea in the Round of 16 at the Alfredo Di Stéfano Stadium, controlling the match from start to finish. Despite creating numerous scoring opportunities, it was an early strike from Yáñez that ultimately proved decisive.
The young Madridistas showed maturity, intensity, and defensive solidity to protect their lead and see out the victory.
In the quarterfinals, Real Madrid will face Sporting CP on March 17 or 18, once again at the Alfredo Di Stéfano Stadium, with a place in the semifinals at stake.
