Real Madrid have reportedly taken a significant step forward in their efforts to secure Vinicius Júnior's contract renewal.
According to journalist Miguel Látigo Serrano, the Brazilian has received two phone calls from the club in recent days, helping to turn previous pessimism into renewed optimism over an agreement.
The report adds that one of those calls came directly from José Mourinho, who explained the importance of Vinicius remaining at Real Madrid as part of his long-term project. Serrano claims the Portuguese coach was pleased with the conversation.
The latest developments point toward a contract renewal, with growing confidence that Vinicius will remain at the club. Mourinho considers the Brazilian a key part of his plans, and both sides are expected to continue working toward an agreement that secures his future at the Santiago Bernabéu.
