Joe Mazzulla, head coach of the Boston Celtics, visited the Santiago Bernabéu and Real Madrid City during his stay in Madrid.
Mazzulla toured the club's training facilities, where he was welcomed by Rudy Fernández, who presented him with a Real Madrid jersey featuring his name and the number 1.
The Celtics coach later visited the Santiago Bernabéu and shared his impressions with Realmadrid TV.
"The stadium is beautiful; I’m impressed by its size and elegance. I love its history. They’ve achieved many successes, championships, and trophies. This is my second time here. I was here two years ago when it was under construction, and it’s nice to see the before and after."
Mazzulla also praised the club's culture of success and the opportunity to learn from it.
"Many good coaches and players in both sports have come through here, achieving success on the pitch and on the court. Being with Rudy and the people here allows you to learn from the success of other clubs. These are excellent facilities. I love being here to learn about different cultures, environments, and clubs that have been successful."
