Juanfe Sanz revealed on El Chiringuito de Jugones that a moment of significant tension recently unfolded inside the Real Madrid dressing room. The incident reportedly took place on January 17, during halftime of the league match against Levante — the same night marked by boos from the Bernabéu crowd following the team’s Copa del Rey elimination at the hands of Albacete.

According to the journalist, Real Madrid were struggling in the first half and several players had been whistled by the fans. In the locker room, one of the team’s most influential figures stepped forward, delivering an emotional speech aimed at lifting morale. In an intense and demanding tone, he urged his teammates to raise their level, show more character, play with greater intensity, and not lose composure on the ball.

However, the situation escalated when another key player — who was also having a difficult first half — challenged him. As Sanz explained, the second player responded by telling the veteran that, “even though you're scoring the goals, you're not playing better than the rest of the team.”

The exchange reportedly led to heated words between the two. While tensions rose, there were no insults or physical confrontation. Other teammates stepped in to calm the situation before it could escalate further. According to Sanz, the clash did not go beyond that tense moment inside the dressing room.
