Real Madrid delivered an impressive performance against Sevilla, and one of the main conclusions from the match was that Arda Güler deserves a regular place in the starting lineup. The Turkish midfielder has become increasingly important to the team thanks to his outstanding ability to build play from midfield.

Beyond scoring a spectacular goal, Güler consistently gave his teammates passing options, helping Real Madrid move the ball forward and create attacks intelligently. This is an aspect of the team's game that has been less evident when Aurélien Tchouaméni and Fede Valverde have partnered in the double pivot.

For this reason, José Mourinho is determined to continue using Güler in that role. According to Diario AS, the Portuguese coach is fully convinced of the Turkish midfielder's potential in the double pivot and intends to deploy him there again. This approach would also allow Valverde to operate further out wide.

Furthermore, moving Güler into a deeper midfield position does not appear to diminish his influence in the final third, as he demonstrated during Sunday's match at the Santiago Bernabéu.
