Arda Güler and Fede Valverde caused concern at Real Madrid during Thursday's training session after failing to train normally with the rest of the squad. The situation was particularly worrying for the club captain, who had just completed two days of medical tests following the knock he suffered in El Clásico. Fortunately for José Mourinho's side, the scare proved to be a false alarm.
According to Marcos Benito of El Chiringuito, Güler and Valverde trained separately from their teammates and were therefore absent from the main session. Both players worked individually due to muscle discomfort, with Mourinho sticking to his policy of not taking risks with players experiencing physical problems.
However, neither player showed any signs of a serious issue, and both are expected to be available for Real Madrid's next league match against Racing Santander on matchday 11.
