Real Madrid’s squad continues to show signs of unity and camaraderie after a season in which the dressing-room atmosphere appeared to be heading in the opposite direction. Under José Mourinho, the mood has improved considerably, with the players showing a stronger sense of togetherness both on and off the pitch.

That was evident on Sunday, when a large group of Real Madrid players attended the Formula 1 race at Madring. With the circuit located so close to Valdebebas, many of the squad members took the opportunity to experience the historic event together.

The team spirit continued after the Grand Prix. According to ESPN’s Rodra, several Real Madrid players later gathered at Rodrygo’s house for a small party, extending the day’s celebrations beyond the circuit.

Almost the entire squad was represented at Madring, with Kylian Mbappé among the notable absentees. Bellingham, Cucurella, Vinicius, Valverde, Trent, Lunin, Courtois, Rodrygo and Militão were all present, while Mourinho also attended the event.

The gathering at Rodrygo’s home provided another example of the improved relationships within the squad. Bellingham recently singled out Rodrygo in an interview with DAZN as the most beloved player in the dressing room, further highlighting the Brazilian’s popularity among his teammates.

This renewed unity must now translate onto the pitch. The objective is not only to avoid the tensions and disputes that characterized parts of last season, but also to build stronger chemistry and understanding between the players.

A team that enjoys spending time together away from football can develop a stronger connection on the pitch, with everyone working toward the same objective. Mourinho appears to have played an important role in reshaping the internal atmosphere at Real Madrid, and the early signs suggest the dressing room is responding positively.
