Franco Mastantuono has officially been unveiled as a new Real Madrid player in a presentation held at Real Madrid City. The ceremony opened with a video showcasing the young talent’s best moments, followed by words from club president Florentino Pérez:

“Today is another of those special days filled with emotion for everyone who loves Real Madrid. One of the most promising talents to emerge in recent years in world football is joining our club. Today, we welcome Franco Mastantuono,” Pérez said.

The president highlighted the significance of the day for the player: “Congratulations, because today, on your birthday, your biggest dream comes true. You had to wait until you turned 18 to wear the shirt of the most beloved, admired, and successful club in the world. It’s one of the most important days of your life, and also for your family, who know the sacrifices you’ve made to get here.”

Mastantuono expressed his gratitude: “Mr. President, thank you very much. I’m grateful to everyone here. This is a very special day for me, a dream come true as a footballer and as a person, to join the greatest club in the world. I’m overjoyed, and I want to share this moment because it will be remembered forever in my life. To those back in Argentina who have guided me, thank you. I still have a lot to learn, but my values come from those closest to me.”

He concluded with a promise to the fans: “I will give my all for this shirt — the dream I’ve always had. Today that dream becomes reality, and today it begins. Thank you to Juni, José Ángel, the president, Xabi Alonso, and the entire team for believing in me. I hope to achieve great things with this club. Hala Madrid!”
