Tensions and controversy have resurfaced at Real Madrid over the past month. Following the defeat in the Madrid derby, the club has entered another period of uncertainty, with concerns growing over the team's form and the possibility of ending the season without a trophy.

Real Madrid's performances have declined significantly, while issues surrounding the squad have also returned to the spotlight. The recent off-field incidents involving Kylian Mbappé since his injury with France have added further attention around the team.

The club is now attempting to close ranks and restore stability, with the upcoming match against Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabéu the immediate priority. Real Madrid are looking to limit the impact of external discussions and protect the players from outside distractions, while also working internally to find solutions to the team's current problems.

According to El Chiringuito, Florentino Pérez visited Valdebebas last Tuesday and spent time with members of the first-team squad. The outlet did not provide further details about the president's meeting or identify the "people" he spoke with.

However, the visit is understood to have been aimed at ensuring everything was in order and reinforcing the need for the squad to remain focused, work hard and concentrate on football.
