Enzo Alves, the son of Real Madrid icon Marcelo, has taken a major step in his young career by signing his first professional contract with the club’s academy. At just 16 years old, he is primarily part of the Juvenil A (U19) squad, but his rapid development has already earned him opportunities beyond his age group. This season, Álvaro Arbeloa even handed him his debut with Castilla, highlighting the club’s strong belief in his potential.
“Happy to sign my first professional contract,” Enzo Alves wrote on social media, a message that quickly drew warm reactions from Real Madrid supporters, many of whom see him as one of Valdebebas’ most exciting prospects. Comparisons with his father are inevitable, and optimism around his future at the club continues to grow.
His rise through the academy has been swift. Enzo Alves began the season with Juvenil B, but his performances soon proved he was ready for a higher level. He moved up to Juvenil A, featured in the UEFA Youth League, and in December was called up by Arbeloa to represent Castilla in the Premier League International Cup, where he made an appearance against Manchester City.
Internationally, Enzo Alves is also making his mark as the current captain of Spain’s U-17 national team. A technically gifted center forward, he stands out for his sharp movement, eye for goal, and ability to find space in decisive moments.
