Endrick has joined Thiago Pitarch, Ferland Mendy and Éder Militão on the sidelines after suffering a muscle strain. According to COPE journalist Melchor Ruiz, the Brazilian has sustained a minor injury and will therefore miss Sunday’s preseason friendly against Schalke.
The injury is not considered serious, and Endrick is expected to recover in time for Real Madrid’s La Liga opener on August 22.
The forward will require a short period of rest, which will affect his preseason preparations but should not represent a major setback. He is still expected to be available for the first league match of the season.
