Endrick's season has come to an early end. The young Brazilian striker has been diagnosed with a hamstring injury in his right leg, as confirmed in an official medical statement from Real Madrid.
The setback will sideline the 18-year-old for at least two months, ruling him out of both the final LaLiga match of the season against Real Sociedad and the FIFA Club World Cup, which kicks off on June 15 in the United States.
Real Madrid released a brief statement on the matter: "Following the tests carried out today on our player Endrick by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a hamstring injury in his right leg, the progress of which is pending."
