Endrick is on track to become an Olympique Lyonnais player in January, pending the final details of the agreement. Although the deal is essentially agreed, it is not officially completed yet. In the last few hours, new information from France has outlined the final points that must be settled before Real Madrid and Lyon can close the operation, which cannot be formalized until the winter transfer window begins.

According to Canal Plus France, Endrick’s loan move to Lyon in January is close to being finalized. The clubs are negotiating a paid loan worth €800,000, with financial penalties if the Brazilian plays fewer than 25 matches. Real Madrid will also cover part of his salary during the loan spell.

The only pending issue concerns a buy-back clause. Real Madrid wants the option to recall the striker until January 31 in case of injuries in their attacking line, while Lyon wants the clause to expire on January 15. This is the last obstacle, but it is not expected to derail the transfer.
