Yan Diomandé has responded after social media erupted with debate over his reported move to Real Madrid.

The RB Leipzig winger has become one of the most talked-about names online following reports linking him with a high-profile transfer to the Santiago Bernabéu. While fans have been divided over the potential deal, the player himself has now reacted to some of the criticism.

One TikTok content creator questioned whether Diomandé is worth the reported transfer fee, saying: "Now I understand why Real Madrid had a trophyless season. You let Barcola and Olise go only to end up paying €100 million for Yan Diomandé. Who's the club's scout? Does this kid really have the level for Madrid? They're in for another trophyless year."

Rather than responding with words or entering into an online argument, Diomandé opted for a more light-hearted approach.

The Ivorian winger reposted the video on his own TikTok account and accompanied it with nothing more than two thumbs-up emojis, making it clear that the criticism had not affected him and choosing to respond with irony instead of controversy.
