Davide Ancelotti continues to make significant progress in his coaching career. After spending several years as part of his father Carlo's coaching staff, the Italian decided to forge his own path and is now managing Lille. His start in France has attracted considerable attention, with AS featuring him on its Saturday front page following the results he has achieved with the French club.

Despite focusing on building his own career, one club remains particularly important to Davide. His time at Real Madrid left a lasting impression, and the coach has never hidden his desire to return to the Santiago Bernabéu one day, this time as the person in charge on the touchline.

Davide was clear about that ambition during an interview with Onda Cero: "My dream is to return to Real Madrid, to coach Real Madrid 100%." He explained that his desire is linked to everything he experienced during his time in the Spanish capital.

The Italian was equally direct when speaking about Florentino Pérez: "I don't need to tell Florentino Pérez that my dream is to coach Real Madrid, everyone knows that."

For now, Davide is focused on establishing his own identity away from his father's shadow. His experience at Lille represents another important step in that process, while his long-term ambition of eventually returning to the Santiago Bernabéu remains clear.
