David Kramer is set to join Real Madrid’s basketball team next season. According to journalist Chema de Lucas in La Pizarra, the German-Slovakian forward will sign a two-year deal with the club, with CB Canarias receiving around €50,000 in compensation.

Kramer’s arrival had been an open secret in recent days. As previously reported by Ramón Álvarez de Mon, Real Madrid had made strengthening the small forward position a priority, and Kramer was one of their top targets. His numbers this season in the Endesa League have been impressive: 12.9 points per game, an outstanding 43.1% from three-point range, 2.3 rebounds, and an efficiency rating (PIR) of 11.6. It’s no surprise CB Canarias has been one of the standout teams this season, with Kramer playing a major role.

This signing aligns perfectly with Chus Mateo’s plan for next season: rejuvenating the roster, adding perimeter talent, and building a squad capable of challenging for every title. At 28 years old, Kramer arrives in the prime of his career, ready to prove himself at one of the most demanding clubs in the world. His elite three-point shooting is exactly the profile Real Madrid needed to round out its rotation.

An official announcement is still pending, but all signs point to David Kramer donning the white jersey very soon — a move that’s already generating excitement at the Movistar Arena.
