David Jiménez made his first La Liga start for Real Madrid on Sunday, marking a special milestone in his young career. The academy graduate spoke about the players who helped him adapt quickly to life with the senior squad.
“In every training session, I try to observe them because they’re the best in the world in their positions,” Jiménez explained.
He reserved special praise for his teammates, adding: “I want to thank Trent, Carvajal and Valverde. They’ve been incredibly generous with me and have given me a lot of advice.”
The young defender admitted he felt completely at ease on the pitch and described the experience as unforgettable: “I felt super comfortable. This is another shirt that I’ll frame and hang in my room.”
